Easy Rider

IN the week that legendary actor Dennis Hopper's dreamy photo archive was unveiled for the first time at the Royal Academy of Arts, there's no better moment to explore the late Sixties outlaw spirit dominating the pre-autumn collections. The summer-sales frenzy is grinding to a halt and now is the time to welcome the glorious arrival of new fashion ideas and make your edit of fresh shopping rails.
Take the Easy Rider trend - the rebel mood-setter of the next season and an ideal palette-cleanser from chaotic hothouse prints. Invest in a sandy-hued suede jacket or Mexican blanket wrap, pull on robust leather knee-high boots and ice-blue denim in crisp rodeo styles (Hopper himself was a great fan of bullfights).
This is about old LA's winsome vibe: re-watch the ultimate road trip movie and take your time over Hopper's black-and-white snaps - stolen moments documenting the explosion of pop art and the baton that passed from the Beatniks to Flower Children. Here's how to make the most of July's unhurried days.
American dreamers: Get creative with your beaten-up denim jacket. Try hand-painted stars in shimmering pewter to match your eye shadow.
Chanel's pre-autumn show in Dallas played homage to the state's cowgirl spirit, with just a dash of disco for good measure.

Vogue Brazil’s July Cover with Karlie Kloss

Vogue Brazil loves Karlie Kloss, having just tapped the model to front its July 2014 issue. For Karlie's second cover of the Brazilian fashion bible, the American model is seen striking a pose against a green background wearing a white printed dress with a crimped hairstyle and gothic makeup. Photographed by Henrique Gendre, our forum members cannot help but compare Klossfirst Vogue Brazil cover to this new one.

Kit Harington the face of Jimmy Choo

Jimmy Choo tapped Peter Lindbergh to shoot its fall-winter men’s ad campaign starring Kit Harington, the face of Jimmy Choo men’s collections and of the Jimmy Choo Man fragrance that launches with Inter Parfums in September.

The campaign is to break in the September issues of men’s monthly titles including GQ and Esquire in the U.K. and .U.S, Vanity Fair, Details, Essential Homme and Departures.

Shot on location in a Los Angeles home designed by the architect John Lautner, the campaign shows Harington in separate images for footwear, fragrance and sunglasses, the latter of which is a capsule collection with Carrera.

Kit has an innate confidence and projects a playfully rebellious nature,” said Sandra Choi, Jimmy Choo’s creative director. “He has an overtly masculine style that feels effortlessly cool, and a great sense of humor, and beneath that intensity he is a true gentleman.”

Harington plays Jon Snow in “Game of Thrones” and his upcoming film projects for 2015 include “Spooks” and “Testament of Youth.” He also features in a behind-the-scenes interview linked to the new campaign on the Jimmy Choo Web site.

Rihanna of Arabia in 'Harper's Bazaar Arabia'

While she's received plenty of backlash surrounding her risque magazine covers over the last few months, Rihanna proves she can make waves just as big with non-nude covers, too, looking absolutely dreamy in the new Haper's Bazaar Arabia issue.
In fact, the cover story for the magazine makes an ironic connection: "The New Modesty: How to Cover Up in Style," which appears to be the point for this shoot, proving that RiRi--the Queen of Free the Nipple--can master beauty on both extremes.
The "Diamonds" singer shared the pictures on her Twitter account, posing in various headpieces and adorned attire--covered completely from head to toe. Shot by Ruven Afanador--who Rih crowned her "new fave photographer"--each image portrays a mysterious, sexy yet conservative appeal to the pop star's stunning features.

Total expose

A few seasons designers try timidly to convince us to wear short jackets. Now this trend has exploded. From Miuccia Prada to McQuuen or Alexander Wang, all reinterpreted the bustier in a fresh manner.

Exposed midfits have been flexed for several seasons now, and spring/summer 2014 sees the trend explode. Elegant for evening or playful with matching shorts for summer days, never has there been a more attractive summer diverse offering of crop tops. The absolute rule: matching tops or bras suit and bottom. matching top and bottom halves takes the look beyond mere lingerie. Bra suits anyone?

Are feminine, sexy, delicate and act in the open. Sure, you should not leave the impression that you're out on the street in your underwear. Inspire yourself from Prada styling for a sporty look, and the one by Dolce & Gabbana for a retro-glamor
Tip: wear them over a shirt or combined with unpredictable tracks: grunge shirt, a jacket or a collage jacket or am xxs cashmere cardigan thrown shoulders.

The pairing of elegant skirt and bra top gives ladylike dressing a deliciously subversive spin.
Go plain and lacy or bold and bright, but above all go matching. A cohesive ensemble says considered and intentional cool.

Micro-wind-cheaters can be sporty, or conversely, one style. All about the model you choose. I suggest you instead of statement heels, the sneakers (do not forget, Rihanna wore a classic and elegant Givenchy suit with a pair of sneakers) ultracolorate sandals or masculine shoes.
