Alexander Wang for H&M
It’s happening, folks. What is perhaps the end-all, be-all of all possible designer collaborations is coming to be: Alexander Wang will design the next capsule collection for H&M, hitting stores on November 6.
The collaboration was formally announced at an H&M event at Coachella, and represents the brand’s first-ever partnership with an American designer.
In a release, Wang said, “I am honored to be a part of H&M’s designer collaborations. The work with their team is an exciting, fun process. They are very open to push boundaries and to set a platform for creativity. This will be a great way for a wider audience to experience the Alexander Wang brand and lifestyle.”
Needless to say, the collaboration is a coup for H&M, as Wang is one of the most commercially successful young designers working today. As H&M’s creative advisor, Margareta van den Bosch, put it in the release: “Alexander Wang is one of the most important voices in fashion today. He understands exactly what people want to wear and does it with an energy and passion that’s infectious.”
The designer then posted an announcement on Instagram, marking the first time he’s ever posted to the widely used social media network. (An appropriate pairing, we think, considering the parallel mass appeal both Instagram and H&M have.)
The collection will launch with a whopping 250 pieces on November 6, and the official press release hints that Wang has something stunt-y up his sleeve: “Wang will propose a new take on the lifestyle offering that goes beyond fashion.”
H&M also took to Twitter and Instagram to share the news; the retail giant and the downtown designer are currently co-hosting a launch party at Coachella (because of course), where the news first officially broke.

Mihelle Williams for the new Louis Vuitton campaign
Louis Vuitton has just released a new round of ads that once again feature Michelle Williams and—not surprisingly—the actress looks remarkably beautiful in the images, which again were shot by Peter Lindbergh.
Michelle certainly has a timeless beauty that translates flawlessly to the French heritage label, looking modern and slightly edgy, but with very soft edges that give off a distinctly Parisian vibe. She just looks so, so pretty.

The Duchess of Cambridge and her passion for McQueen
Princess seemed to have a passion for designer Alexander McQueen, whose creations she wears often.
Her favorite designer outfits, have put Kate a little embarrassing situation after its cleavage caught the attention of those present at the event.
During the visit of Adelaide, Duchess of Cambridge chose to wear a pink piece deux with a neck a little deeper to status.
Duchess follows in the footsteps of Princess Diana, mother of her husband, who violated standards of the status that he held several times.
It is not the first time the Duchess of Cambridge wearing one of the outfits designer Alexander McQueen.
Rihanna's shopping day
Rihanna could not overlook one of the most important avenues in Hollywood.
One of the most beloved artists of the planet chose a denim jacket oversized, 90's style, which he wore as a dress and a pair of high red boots.
Recently, she has tattooed one hand, leaving the view drawing in ink on both occasions.

The Sporty Girl
The sporting life- one of this season's lead stories, the athletic trend comes with old-school attitude.
Hi-tech fabrics and sports mesh, refresh this season old-school approach to styling.
Spring’s most active trend takes sporty shapes and themes and gives them a high-fashion update. Clean lines and luxurious fabrics suggest dynamism and edge.
From boxing belts at Pucci to basketball vest dresses at Tommy Hilfiger via school-gym/football socks at Prada, it’s hard to think of a sport that didn’t get represented on the spring/summer catwalks. Both Gucci and Pucci took a sexy, slightly disco approach.
For his Pucci collection, with its micro running shorts, Peter Dundas says: “I used shapes, fabrics, accessories and colours taken from sports. A parka worked great for night in silver parachute silk and so did scuba neoprene, which sculpts well, or technical jerseys, which made for great draping.” The designer had fun “playing” with sporty elements. “A hoodie became a mini dress, motocross trousers were rolled up and slouchy, the boxing shoe was a high-heeled peep toe. It made basics feel fresh, easy and more modern,” he says.
Gucci’s collection was similarly suited to gym-honed bodies. It featured see-through black mesh T-shirts and tracksuits in sheer black pleated silk and liquid lamé.
Alexander Wang had the toned thigh and midriff in mind, with his sculpted cropped tops and gym shorts. Meanwhile, the designer teamed wet-look wind-cheaters with miniskirts and plimsoll-like shoes.
Marc by Marc Jacobs and Jonathan Saunders both presented silk baseball jackets; and Marni, Lacoste and Prada all featured striped trims that evoked a school sports day.
The sports luxe look is a trend that has longevity. Every season it seems to improve, and what we’ve noticed now is that having a good pair of trainers and more relaxed pieces in your wardrobe is more and more relevant. Invest in this cool look. :)
Phillip Lim Released a Denim Collection
Now our attention is really captured. Phillip Lim is releasing an all-denim capsule collection. The designer quietly released a collection of 12 denim pieces on 3.1 Phillip Lim’s website today; and yes, as you might have guessed, it’s pretty much chic as hell.
The capsule spans everything from tiny crop tops to blazers to shorts, and everything in between. In classic Phillip Lim style, it all comes across as impossibly modern and crisp; while the rest of the world is busy lusting over ripped denim in light-wash fades, Lim turned all his highly skilled efforts to a deep indigo wash.
