Kanye West on the GQ cover

Last week Kanye West's latest GQ cover was officially revealed, where the fashion icon graces the August 2014 issue of the storied publication. This marks the second time West has covered the magazine, the first being December 2007.The cover and accompanying editorial were shot by Patrick Demarchelier and styled by GQ creative director Jim Moore. The resulting outfits were a collaboration between two of menswear's most prominent figures, not just West himself as erroneously reported.

"It's not about having a lot of clothes," West tells the magazine. "It's about a few favorites." Throughout the editorial, he switches up classic 6-inch wheat Timberland boots with crisp adidas sneakers like the Stan Smith and the Pure Boost, one of the best sneakers we've seen this year. Other notable pieces include the Airport Sweater and white Kanye Jeans from his latest A.P.C. collaboration, leather pants from En Noir, and the Wes Lang-customized leather jacket first seen at his nuptials with Kim Kardashian.

KENDALL JENNER STARS IN GIVENCHY CAMPAIGN

Welcome to the fashion club, Kendall Jenner.  Following yesterday’s thigh-high reveal and the model’s debut on Marc Jacobs, Giles, and Givenchy’s Fall 2014 runways comes another fashion win: a starring role in Givenchy’s new Fall 2014 campaign. Shot by Mert & Marcus and featured alongside models Jamie Bochert and Mariacarla Boscono, as well as Stephanie Seymour’s son Peter Brant Jr., Jenner finds herself in excellent company.  We’ve spoken of the new model's credibility before, and although Givenchy’s creative director Riccardo Tisci is a family friend (he designed Kim’s recent wedding gown), Jenner continues to prove herself amongst the fashion set.

Glossy Bronze Makeup

MODELS at the spring/summer 2014 shows were the very picture of health, with sun-kissed skin, flushed cheeks and warm tones giving them a just-back-from-holiday glow as they showed off the season's new collections.
Kardashian-style contouring this was not - instead summer's glow is a natural-looking wash of subtle colour across noses, cheeks, temples and brows, giving models a healthy, outdoorsy look that seems casual rather than contrived.
References ranged from "Ibiza party girls fallen asleep on the beach" at Topshop Unique to "woodland nymphs" at JW Anderson, whilst freckles were drawn onto the noses of selected models at Emilio Pucci for a youthful look speaking of days spent in the sun or dancing at festivals.
And the eyelids makeup came in warm shades of chocolate, bronze, gold or copper, creamy and have a wet look. The new waterproof formula does not gather on the eye and hold a lot more on the beach. In addition, the metallic creates the illusion of fresh makeup.

Kanye West amazing for Interview Magazine February Issue

Kanye West for Interview Magazine, February Issue 2014.
Music by Kanye West.
Shot by Steven Klein.
Interviewed by Steve McQueen.
What's there left to say about Kanye West? Certainly, West himself would have plenty to say. After all, he's the guy who, during an NBC telethon to benefit the victims of Hurricane Katrina, proclaimed, off script, that "George Bush doesn't care about black people." He's the guy who stormed the stage at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards and announced that his good friend Jay-Z's significant other, BeyoncĂ©, should have won the prize just bestowed upon the perpetually in faux-awe Taylor Swift. He's the guy who, in front of the large fabricated-mountain set on his recent "Yeezus" tour, has alternately taken aim at Hedi Slimane, Bernard Arnault, François-Henri Pinault, and Nike; likened himself to Steve Jobs, Walt Disney, and Michelangelo; embarked on a long and winding monologue about Lenny Kravitz (at which Kravitz was present); and asked Google head Eric Schmidt to invest in his design firm Donda (named after West's late mother)—all while still retaining the level-eyed insight to hold Le Corbusier and Q-Tip as inhabitors of similarly lofty creative planes.
